Last night we held our biggest Annual Conference fringe yet.
Over 100 people piled into a conference suite at the Old Ship Hotel in Brighton to listen to Tom Copley AM, Emma Dent Coad MP and our Chair Ken Ritchie setting out why the Labour Party should back a republic.
It’s clear that this is an issue which is rising up the agenda for party activists with more attendees and enthusiasm than ever before.
Here is a picture from last night’s event:
Thank you to all who came along and especially to our brilliant speakers: Tom, Emma and Ken.
It was great to see so many of you last night. But we must continue to get bigger and better.
As our speakers said last night, we need to say loud and proud that we are Labour and we are republicans!
You can also forward this email to your friends and ask them to sign up to the campaign here.
Only by increasing in numbers can we mobilise our movement and encourage the Labour leadership to back a republic.
A bigger movement means we can print more leaflets, pack out more events around the country and throughout the year, and fundraise to keep up with the monarchy’s well-funded PR operation.
Could you help spread the word today?
